In Democratic Debate, the Real Loser is ABC (and Americans)
Thu, 17 Apr 2008 08:49:41 PDT
Excellent write-up by Washington Post critic Tom Shales regarding the PA "debate" between Obama and Clinton. In their quest to be "edgy", Stefanopolis and Gibson moderated more like you would expect from a tabloid than a world-class news organization. CBS Democratic Primary Debate in Philly
Thu, 17 Apr 2008 08:59:03 PDT
ABC handled this debate in a very admirable way, and I think both candidates supporters should have been satisfied with the fairness of the debate, for a change. This is how journalists should handle debates. Both got hit with three very tough issues, some of which have been dominating the news, then they moved on to the issues.
