August Ratings: CNN's Most Primetime Gains in Demo

CNN and Headline News showed strong gains year-to-year during August. CNN grew 34% in Total Viewers and 48% in the A25-54 demo compared to last August in prime time (M-SU). The average was certainly helped by historic DNC ratings last week. For the first time ever, CNN topped all broadcast and cable networks at 10pmET, with a four-day average of 5.6 million. On Thursday specifically, CNN's primetime average in the A25-54 demo was the highest of any national convention in cable news history.

I took some photos for my blog (server problems, should be updated this weekend) at the recent trade shows in Vegas, and I was hoping that anyone else who was also there could post what they saw, liked, etc.... a few trends that i observed at project (womens and juniors) were: -sublimation (still) -tie dye -bright colours -printed graphic tees are apparently never going away...and i'm ok with that! -hippy/bohemian look (in denim as well) -dresses are still stronger than skirts -maxi dres
